Ellen Bunch

WorkSaver Systems regrets having to announce that Ellen Bunch, R.N. passed away on September 10th, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. She served as President of WorkSaver Employee Testing Systems for 19 years until January, 2014.

During Ellen’s tenure as President of WorkSaver, she was instrumental in developing one of the most effective quality assurance (QA) review systems available today in the field of employee functional (fitness-for-duty) testing. She also coordinated WorkSaver services with industries and directed her staff of QA nurses to conduct detailed reviews of all WorkSaver Fitness-for-Duty and ADA-Compliant Post-offer, Pre-placement (New Hire) Evaluations performed by WorkSaver’s national network of certified clinics.

Ellen was a highly effective and compassionate leader. Employees both respected her and loved working for her. She was considered an excellent mentor to her staff. Clients also frequently spoke highly about Ellen’s knowledge, ethics, and keen ability to communicate and solve problems.

Ellen was a member of the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses and National Orthopedic Nurse Association. In addition to her professional career she was very active in volunteer work with cancer patients and also animal rescue organizations such as H.O.P.E. for Animals.
