History of WorkSaver

The Beginning

WorkSaver Systems was founded in response to emerging litigation risks for offshore employers, which led these employers to reach out to consult with Dr. Richard Bunch on how to reduce this risk. Through on-site visits and extensive studies, Dr. Richard Bunch developed on-site job evaluations and crafted job-specific functional testing, establishing the foundation for the company’s lasting legacy in fitness-for-duty assessments.

Ellen Bunch, RN, played a key role in the company’s development and established one of the most effective quality assurance review systems available today in the field of employee functional (fitness-for-duty) testing. She also coordinated WorkSaver services with various industries, directing her team of quality assurance (QA) nurses to conduct thorough reviews of all WorkSaver Fitness-for-Duty and ADA-Compliant Post-Offer, Pre-Placement (New Hire) Evaluations performed by WorkSaver’s network of certified clinics. Although Mrs. Bunch is no longer with us, her contributions to the company are not forgotten.
